It’s a new year and a new season for the Shelburne Farmers’ Market.
This year the market season will run for 20 weeks from May 25 until October 5 on Thursday afternoons from 3-7 pm.
Vendor registration will be open until March 11 and vendors will be juried and chosen soon after. Fees for this 20 week season are $250 for a 10×10 ft space or $300 for a 10×20 ft space. For vendors requiring electricity a $35 seasonal charge will be applied.
For part of our marketing initiative for the Market we are going to be having weekly “Events” at the Market. This will be in addition to our musical entertainment which will showcase local musical talent.
Special Events Opportunity
All local service groups or businesses that are contributing to causes in our community are being offered the opportunity to do a special event at the Market. This will be offered FREE of charge as long as a portion of the proceeds (if any are collected) go back into our community.
We are hoping that the participants will come up with some creative ideas!
And we also will be creating some special weeks at the Market including; Christmas in July!, Caribbean Holiday! and Hockey Day in Shelburne! just to name a few.
We are limited too only 20 weeks so we are asking for groups to get their applications in ASAP!
